Our trains normally run ...

  • at weekends (including Bank Holiday Mondays)
  • on Wednesdays during school holidays (between March and October)
  • a 40-minute service

Note: return tickets normally act as “day rovers”, allowing more than one ride, provided that there is space on the train.

Which fare applies ...

  • children aged under 3 years travel free
  • children aged 3 to 15 years inclusive need child tickets
  • those over 15 years need adult tickets
  • up to 2 adults and 3 children can use a family ticket
  • pets can travel free
  • admission to the Engine House is free

Child annual pass ...

  • for children aged 3 to 15 years inclusive
  • cost £7.50p
  • valid for all services except the Santa Specials

  • for fare-paying adult passengers who need a carer ...
    • one registered carer may travel with them free
    • on production of a disability travel pass from WY Metro or other local authority

  • for ordinary running days only (not special events)

  • on production of the card

Concessions for Breeze Card holders ...

  • for normal service days only (not special events, not Wednesday services)
  • 50p reduction for a Child Day Rover ticket

Tickets are not transferable and are valid on the day of issue only.

Whilst every effort will be made to ensure that services run as advertised, the Railway reserves the right to cancel, alter or suspend any train service without notice and no liability is accepted for any loss, inconvenience or delay caused.
